Happy New Year!
2013 is going to be fantastic and do you know how I know that? Because WE are going to make it fantastic together! In my very first blog post ever, I’m kicking off my “12 Months of Kindness” campaign! It’s not complicated and it’s not going to cost you anything, but it IS going to bring smiles to a lot of faces. Here’s how it works:
Every month, I’m going to give you one simple task to accomplish that will help infect the world with goodwill. In light of all the tragic events in the news of late, don’t you think it’s about time!?! At the time of this post, I have about 660 fans on Facebook. If each one completes just this one act of kindness each month in 2013, together we will have completed 7,920 acts! Now imagine that each one of those acts inspires someone else to do something nice… you can see how this could be HUGE!
January’s assignment is the post-it. Yep, you read that correctly: the post-it. I want you to stick a few post-it notes in your purse or your pocket and leave a nice note for someone. Be creative!
I left this one in the dressing room at Victoria’s Secret:
And this one on the windshield of a car:
But you don’t even have to leave the house. Leave a note for your spouse or child on their bathroom mirror telling them to have a great day! See how easy this is!?!

I put a note on my friend’s car at the gym that said “you inspire me” She does in so many ways…. not just to workout harder, but to be a better person and friend! I plan to put give out more post it notes. This one was important to me.
This is such a good one! I suspect your friend knew it came from you and I bet that meant so much to her. Even when we know someone cares about us, it sure is nice to hear about it! Thanks dot sharing!
I actually don’t think she suspected it came from me. She is such an amazing person to soooo many people, that it could have come from a number of people. She’s just one of those people that you would be so lucky to know. She makes everybody feel like they are the most important person in the world.

I put a note on a car yesterday telling them to have a nice day. Then I went into the store and proceeded to shop. When I came back to my car the note was on my window. I then put it on another window. I wonder how many windows that note was put on. Love this !! It made me feel good and it was really a very easy gesture.
